AWS DevOps connection

An AWS DevOps connection is a secure link between Amazon Web Services (AWS) and DevOps tools or applications, allowing for seamless integration, communication, and management of development and operations tasks.
To configure an AWS DevOps connection within the DevOps Intelligence platform, following the correct sequence of steps is essential to ensure a successful setup. This guide will provide a step-by-step walkthrough to help you configure this connection effectively, promoting seamless data flow and efficient operations.
By following these steps, you can effectively configure an AWS DevOps connection within the DevOps Intelligence platform:
  1. Within Kyndryl application, select the
    Open
    menu icon from the top left corner, navigate to
    Admin
    and expand the menu.
  2. Select
    IAM,
    then navigate to
    Connections
    at the bottom of the left panel
  3. Select the
    Add New
    and fill in all the necessary information required, such as
    Connection name
    ,
    Technology Category,
    and
    Connection Type
    .
  4. Specify and enter the appropriate information if you will use the connection for
    Billing Data
  5. Enter the credential details, such as
    Access Key
    and
    Secret Key
  6. Select the
    Test connection
    button to validate the configuration
  7. Select the
    Add
    button at the bottom of the form.

Configuration

As a user, you must input a valid endpoint. This endpoint should list the repositories you aim to monitor via the DevOps Intelligence platform. Inputting the correct endpoint ensures you can effectively track and manage the necessary repositories.

Repository level tracking

This guide will lead you through the process, ensuring you can effectively monitor and manage your repositories.
  1. Tool engine
    : AWS DevOps.
  2. Connection
    : Select the connection name from the dropdown menu.
  3. Endpoint
    : Enter the valid endpoint, which will give the list of repositories.
  4. Repository
    : Select the repository and click configure.
After completing the configuration, you can view the configuration details in the table on the configuration page.
